Duck, North Carolina

Each summer I travel (not too far) but to the Outer Banks for a week with my family. I love North Carolina especially in the summer time when I can spend the entire day on the beach. This past June, I went with two families that are really close to my family. One of my best friends since I was in Kindergarten went with me too which made it even more fun. We spent most days at the beach, shopping, eating lots of food, and parasailing.  We all took lots of pictures and had multiple “photo shoots” in hopes to get the perfect Christmas card picture (it did not work out). Although I did get sunburnt horribly, it was a great vacation. The drive down to Duck was about 7.5 hours but luckily I slept for most of the drive. I really want to go back to the Outer Banks and feel like it could even be more fun if I went with a group of friends. If you have never been to the Outer Banks I really recommend going and spending at least a week there. The houses available for rent are all beautiful and for the most part affordable. I can’t wait to go back.
