This month, I took a spontaneous journey to Mexico with my best friend and her family. The reason this trip was rather “spontaneous” was because I truly booked my ticket 2 days before I left! This was one of my most favorite vacations and I will never forget the memories and people that I met there. I loved Mexico, all of the people were extremely kind to me and helped me learn Spanish better (I take French so my Spanish skills are lacking). The water was so clear, and being able to bathe in the sun while my family in Delaware was bundled in layers of jackets was amazing. The food in Mexico was also really great, although it is kind of basic the tacos there had nothing in comparison to the tacos in Delaware. I got to do a lot of fun things while I was there, like jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, and under ground cave exploring. My goPro was an asset to my trip and I even created a “vlog”about my six day adventure. I guess the purpose of this post was to inspire and motivate people to take advantage of opportunity. I was pretty close to not going to Mexico because I wanted to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving. Although my family all encouraged me, I still felt a little bit guilty but am still really grateful for my experiences and time spent in Mexico. Carpe Diem!
